4. RANGEFINDER/HYPSOMETER.

5. SILVA® RANGER WITH BUILT-IN CLINOMETERS.

Precision, hand-held sighting clinometers, for measuring vertical angles, slopes, bedding dips and heights of distant objects. Case is machined out of solid aluminum. Scale rides on a sapphire jeweled bearing and are liquid damped. Scales are graduated in degrees from 0 to +90 and from 0% to +150% slope. Values can be read directly to one degree or one percent and estimated to 10 min. of arc or one-fifth of one percent with readings near zero level. Absolute accuracy is about one third of a degree.

6. DIGITAL PLANIMETER.

KP90N Digital Planimeter is used for area measurements from maps and other sources with an accuracy of +/- 0.2%. Clear LCD screens display readings up to 8-digits. 6-Digit pulse count allows user to measure an area 100 times larger than with an ordinary planimeter- up to 10 square meters. It features a hold memory function that holds a value in memory. For even more precise measurements, a mean value can be calculated from several measurements. The computing function model has a built-in computer for instant conversion of measured areas into a unit and scale value of choice.

7. BRUNTON® MIRRORED COMPASS.

The "circle over circle" alignment system of this compass assures an accurate reading every time! In addition, a round bubble level allows for more accurate strike and dip measurements. The compass features three inclinometer systems: card inclinometer (±5° accuracy with 5° resolution), hinge inclinometer (±5° accuracy with 5° resolution), and graduated dial inclinometer (±1° accuracy with 1° resolution). 8. LASER DISTANCE METER.

The laser distance meter is meant for both indoor and outdoor measuring. It is the first hand laser distance measurement device which has an integrated digital viewfinder (3fold zoom). With this invention measurements can be made in difficult lighting conditions and even if the laser dot is not visible. Additionally the device has an integrated tilt sensor which opens a much wider variety of indirect measurements. For simple inclination measurements the housing simply has to be held at the object.

10. MIRROR STEREOSCOPE.

An economical unit for lab or field use. This portable mirror stereoscope is for use with 9" x 9" stereo photographs. It features a 1.3x magnifying unit, and the rugged plastic frame folds to compact size of 2" x 6-1/2" x 14". Also available is an optional eyepiece with a 3x magnification and a 55-75 mm inter-papillary adjustment. The field of view is 12° and it has a close-up focus of 150 mm. 12. BASIC GEKOM COMPASS.

14. KD2 Pro Thermal Properties Analyser.

The KD2-Pro is a fully portable field and lab thermal properties analyser. It uses the transient line heat source method to measure thermal diffusivity, specific heat (heat capacity), thermal conductivity, and thermal resistivity. Complies with international Standards. The KD2 Pro uses 3 sensors to measure thermal diffusivity, specific heat, conductivity and resistivity. The KD2 Pro allows unattended (user programmable) measurements and on-board data storage with space for over 4,000 measurements.

15. Geological Stratum Compass.

All-metal, German-made geological compass, based on the design by Dr. Clar, University of Vienna, for measuring azimuths and dip angles. Hinged cover has a graduated vertical operation. Dip angle graduation is 5 degrees over a range of 225 degrees, with reliable estimation to 1 degree. Mirror mounted on the inside of the cover in combination with notch and bead sights on the face of the compass enable accurate sightings to distant objects. Compass graduations are 2 degrees with reliable estimation to 0.5 degrees. Compass needle is unlocked with a push button.

16. ORIGINAL SCHMIDT HAMMER TYPE L.

This concrete test hammers are used for the non-destructive measurement of the rocks compressive strength as well as for detecting weak spots. The compressive strength (fc) is established by measuring the hardness (rebound value R) of the surface and with the conversion curves. The Type L/LR hammer operates with significant lower impact energy, making this hammer the ideal option for testing thin walled items with a thickness between 2” and 4” (50 to 100 mm) or for testing small components. The Type L/LR is suitable for testing cast stone components which are sensitive to impact. In rock mechanics, the Type L/LR hammers are commonly used for classification testing of rock cores and brittle rock.
